GEORGIA RADIO - The last fireworks of the 34th Georgia National Fair have illuminated the skies over Perry, marking the end of an incredible 11-day event that drew nearly half a million visitors. From October 5th to 15th, fairgoers from near and far gathered at the Georgia National Fairgrounds & Agricenter to indulge in live concerts, thrilling rides, delectable signature fair treats, captivating livestock shows, inspiring art exhibits, impressive 4-H projects, and a variety of mesmerizing animal shows.
The fair organizers are thrilled to announce that a total of 487,874 visitors flocked to the event, reinforcing the Fair's status as a cherished tradition in the state. Economic impact estimates, based on figures from a University of Georgia study, underscore the fair's significance, suggesting that the event generated over $42 million in value during its 11-day run. While the total attendance did not break records, a new milestone was reached on the first Friday, as an all-time high of 43,594 daily visitors thronged to the fairgrounds.

Reithoffer Shows, the family-owned and operated ride midway provider, celebrated their 34-year partnership with the Fairgrounds by offering a staggering array of 90 rides and 8 armband nights for guests. The fair's shopping and food vendors also expressed their delight, hailing this year's event as one of their most successful stops across the country.
